and so, this is a post about CHURCH CAMP '09, even though i really have lots more to say. maybe i'll do that in the next post. =)

church camp was great! our theme? sexuality. every year, FOCUS has these camps during the easter weekend, and i've attended 3 of these camps already. every year we learn something different, every year there's fun and great bonding times, every year i'll miss church camp once it's over. =(

so what did i learn from camp?

• sexuality is a god given gift.
• god values your godliness above your status as a single or a married person.
• it is good to have contentment in singleness.
  
• sex was intended for good, but only within the framework of marriage.
• male and female were not created unequal, yet the fall in the garden of eden placed man as head over woman.
  
• to fulfil my role as a godly woman, the bible has clear ideas of mature femininity including taboo concepts in today's society like: submission to the leadership of men.

wonder if that makes sense. my thoughts seem pretty jumbled up, but that's my conclusion to 4 days of learning!

i'm sorry if you have been hurt by my actions. i sincerely didn't mean to say one thing and apparently turn around and do something else. i do feel my privacy was invaded, but i can't say i'm not to blame. i hope this won't come between us.

if only things were as uncomplicated as they could once have been though. like my very first camp. haha. things have never been the same since you. then again, i don't regret things turning out the way they have. =)
